Chateau Tumbleweed Winery Tasting Room

Try to decide which Verde Valley winery to stop for tasting? Do not look anymore, Château Tumbleweed is your place! We usually go to many of the wineries on Main Street in Cottonwood, but this time decided to go the beaten way, and what a big decision! Had the light wine tasting and a small charcuterie box. The little one is definitely more than enough for two and Kris made an excellent creation with great variety to complement the wine. The conversation with Kris, one of the owners and the label artist, was so refreshing and enlightening! Super sweet location with a beautiful dog-friendly terrace! I love that they do not all wines at a time on a flying board, like some of the wineries, but present every single bottle and go to the depth above the background and the label. Kris brought out some extras that were not on the tasting menu. The 2021 Cimarron Vineyard Picpoul Blanc and the 2021 Sierra Bonita Vineyard Grenache Blanc went to Flagstaff! Can't wait until some warmer days break into this! I already plan my next visit with a few friends who can't wait to go after all my ranting and raving, and my manager went last weekend from my recommendation, and just loved it. I'm looking forward to trying the Deluxe flight. Don't miss this jewel in Clarkdale! Great wine, great wines, good times! So, do what a womb does best, and roll into this little château!

Had great conversations with the workers there. They were very attentive and the wine was amazing! We bought two bottles. Definitely a fun little stop! Cheers!

Great wines, great people, great ambience, amazing value. Can't recommend enough to do yourself a favor and stop! We always came back! Oh, and dog friendly too!

We took the picturesque route from Sedona to Phoenix and found this cool little winery. They actually make the wine on site! They can sit inside, but sitting outside with their heaters and blankets is really pleasant. I'm not a big wine person, but it seemed great to taste. The staff is super friendly and offers great recommendations for wine selection. HIGHLY RECOMMENDS

What a fun place! The wines were good and the staff was friendly and approachable. I found bottle prices to be quite affordable, especially considering the high quality.
