The Gingham Cafe - Clarksville

Firstly, I am adding more stars to this place ???? ???? ???? ???? ???? for taste! The first 5 were for customer service. I didnt know where to start, but I do know there will be no end!!! Small place packed with passion for their artwork; from the time you enter until you leave. Two of the hostesses were full of energy and gave recommendations on the fresh goodies they had to offer without disappointment. Overall, looking for a business brunch meeting, lunch date, or just a place to grab a bite to eat and forget about the hustle and bustle of the day??? Choose this Café!

Great food. We eat here at least once a week. The salads are amazingly good. They also have heat-and-eat entrees for sale along with cake and cookie bar items.

Honestly, this café is truly an extraordinary place. Every item on the menu is made with care and attention to detail. My favorite is the gingham grilled cheese, which you can see in the photo below. While some of the sides and soups are seasonal, I've never been let down by any of the side dishes. It can get quite busy during lunch, especially with groups of middle-aged women who seem to be enjoying a leisurely lifestyle that I often envy. However, if you call ahead, they usually have your order ready by the time you arrive.

I really enjoy the chicken salad and all the side dishes. I would appreciate having a bit more variety, particularly with the coffee and baked goods.

I absolutely love this place! I often indulge in the special of the day, and their egg salad is fantastic—though it’s limited and sells out quickly, it's worth trying! I'm also a big fan of their desserts to bring home to my kids, as well as their quiche, spinach casserole, and the Wednesday special. Not to mention the fruit tea! This has become a regular spot for me, and I plan to keep coming back. Emily, the manager, is wonderful too!
