Yamato Japanese Steakhouse Sushi

Ate there a few nights ago for my daughter's birthday. Great food, great service and the portions were more than I could eat. We all had to get boxes for the remaining.

Really enjoyed the vibe, not much to look at on the outside but it is nice inside. Staff are friendly and courteous. Food arrived quickly and sushi was decent. Recommend for a family or group outing.

Picked up sushi to treat myself while my husband was out of town. Just went in tonight to pick it up--and not only are the FAST but so welcoming. I brought my 1 and 2 year old in, and the ladies (waitresses) swarmed. Brought my kids lollipops while we waited. The hostess even held my baby so I could sign the check. Such a family-feeling atmosphere and the people who work there clearly LOVE to work. GO here! The sushi was wonderful!

Nice staff. Food is not worth the cost. Decor needs to be updated as well. Seems to need a real deep cleaning. Like shut down for a couple of days and get professional clean so that residue on and around hot tops doesn't look so noticeable while sitting at table

This place is okay. I think I may have just been spoiled by above standard hibachi, but the show seemed pretty dull for a restaurant of this caliber. However, it was clean and have delicious food. Great atmosphere.
