A beautiful place to stay, relax, good healthy and special food with nice people. Of course, the Oberharzer Wasserregal is also a technically interesting place.

From the parking lot there were some steps downhill and then the old lift house is left and invites you back with delicious fragrances. The hygiene rules are consistently adhered to. In the corner house there are several guest rooms, very cozy! The decoration is harmonious, on the walls hanging pictures of young artists who can show there. The service was quick and friendly. We were only there for coffee, but to us it smells delicious for good food. The homemade cake was a highlight. For a long time no such good cakes had been eaten, the portions were also very saturating. Thanks to Mrs. Engel for the commitment to the lift house and the beautiful afternoon we were allowed to spend there.

Cosy forest restaurant/café. There are coffee, cakes, high-quality hot food and drinks. The cake is homemade and tastes very delicious. The location is idyllic in the forest. Unfortunately, the operation is uncoordinated and therefore “only” 4 stars. However, all conditions are very friendly! We still like to come back
