Feedback gevenWawa is an exceptional spot on the East Coast, offering hot and freshly brewed coffee alongside a selection of fresh deli foods. They also provide a variety of packaged products and drinks, all at reasonable gas prices and with a spacious parking lot. I've watched Wawa expand from just a handful of locations in Southeastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey to a presence along the entire East Coast, even reaching down to Miami! In my younger days, they only had two coffee options: regular and decaf. Now, they boast an impressive range of coffees sourced from Colombia, Brazil, Africa, as well as an array of seasonal flavors. The food is consistently fresh, and the coffee is always served piping hot.
I waited 15 minutes for a latte. When I tried to get my money back, they insisted it was ready, but it hadn't even been started. Their excuse was that they were busy, but almost 20 minutes for a latte that hadn't even begun to be made is ridiculous. I ended up keeping the money because it seemed to matter so much to them.
The entire food prep staff seemed overwhelmed and preoccupied, loudly complaining about customer complaints while I was just trying to get my two basic chicken sandwich orders right. They gave me the wrong type of cheese, used grilled sauce instead of ketchup, completely forgot the salad (even though I could see they had some), and I had to ask for the cheese sauce that I’d already paid for. When my order number was called, they didn’t even place it in front of the window, despite my waiting there with my ticket. I had to get their attention again after loudly calling out. I love Wawa, but this was a really disappointing experience.
Wawa always tries to offer quality. Sometimes a Wawa gets in the way to be the Wawa that I love to defend. My hot order was missing ingredients. UGH. Just follow the instructions and steps. Too much conversation between employees while people are waiting. Supervisors must be monitored. The employees must leave people alone at the clock when they have work to do. The customer-specific cold drinks person cannot read the instructions on how to make the drink and talk to people at the same time. When someone spoke to her, she had to stop what she did to attend the conversation. The shine has lost its shine in this store. It's even better than Sheetz.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS..ANY TIME OF DAY!! Been coming here since it opened. It is absolutely the worst Wawa I've ever been to, regardless time of day. I am here at 10pm Thursday and its 10:23 and I just saw a couple walk out while waiting for their order. The employees try hard, but clearly the store manager and Wawa Corp has failed these workers and community miserably. Absolute worst convenience store..corporate needs to step in and remove the management team...there IS ENOUGH workers (albeit very slow), just clearly poor guidance.
