Okif you have been here before and were disappointed, give them another shotI was not impressed when we cam a year or two ago.
If you've visited this restaurant before and were not impressed, I recommend giving it another try. I wasn't a fan when I first visited some time ago, but with new management, the food has improved and the prices are more reasonable. The focus is now on sushi, and they go by the name 'Sushi Bonsai'. I was really impressed by the sushi offerings, especially the Boat for One which included Nigiri, Sashimi, and a special roll like the Salmon Lover. The special rolls such as Cherry Blossom, Red Diamond, Yummy Roll, and Bentley were all delicious. On Wednesdays and Thursdays, they have a Buy One Get One free promotion. The service during lunch was quick and friendly, with generous wine pours. I went with my mom before heading back to LA, and we appreciated the welcoming owner, attentive server, and tasty food at Bonsai. The prices were reasonable, with good specials. The rolls and Seaweed salad were all tasty and came out promptly. I definitely plan on returning when I visit NC again. The service on Thursday night was exceptional, prices were reasonable, and the food was delicious. The Hibachi dishes are top-notch, and the sushi selection is fresh and diverse. A favorite option is the bento box combo, which includes Hibachi with a half serving of sushi roll, dessert, and drink for around $7. While the sushi may not be extravagant, it is still enjoyable, and the service is warm and efficient.

I went to this sushi restaurant and asked for green tea and was shocked that they didn't have any.
