Charlie's Bbq Grille - Clayton

Delicious delicate barbecue, sauce is amazing, best Brunswick stew I ever had. I met who I suspect is Charlie, very friendly and hospitable. Definitely will come back

The food was great, I had the fried flounder and okra, it was excellent. My father really enjoyed his BBQ sandwich, the great duke and his beans. Usually the food quality is what I rave about, but Charlie himself came over and took my father's command. My father is recently obstructed by a stroke and rest, Charlie has a really big heart and saw that my father is fighting with little things. Charlie insisted that we sit and he took our job at our table that was so sweet of him that he didn't have to do that. He even hung around a bit and laughed and joked with us, honestly, it was the highlight of our day. We never saw Charlie on the way out, but thank you! It meant everything to us. And thanks to all other employees, they are all such friendly and patient people, even if they are busy. We will definitely come back.

Great BBQ, awesome sides and great staff. Charlie was there and is the nicest guy. Making sure you are happy with your food. I love an engaged owner. It shows in his food. Will definitely go again.

The first time I set foot in this place I knew there was something different about it. After talking with Charlie a minute I realized he was a long time customer of mine as well. The scrumptious food and awesome vibe aside, we all know what drives this place. The Lord is a strong tower, and Mr. Charlie is a living example to His goodness. A recent move has taken me further out of town, but I will never forget the kindness he showed me the first time. Never.

Had a big BBQ burger. The meat was amazing, very delicate cooked to a perfection! The prices are very lovable as well, offer great quality / value! Charlie was there too, we had a great conversation! Definitely come back when I'm in the area!
