Escape On 2nd Ave - Clayton

Fantastic Bloody Marys! I'm quite particular when it comes to my bloodies. The food was excellent, but during the few times we've visited, it seemed like there was only one person working, and I honestly wanted to jump in and help—watching those poor ladies struggle to keep up gave me anxiety. The menu is quite diverse, and you can really tell that the food is homemade.

The food was outstanding! I highly recommend the mushroom and willy sandwich.

Last night was our second trip to 2nd Ave, first time our group LOVED the food, it was so fun and we were excited to be back!Last night we went back and were so pumped! They had posted the last few days about “smoked drinks”, wine whiskey. I had asked for a Smoked drink and the bartender did not seem to excited about it, I settled for a different drink. We later had some smoked wine, with our meal, which was delicious. The steak bites are to die for! So yummy! The menu has a lot of awesome choices! Unfortunately my partners Asian chili burger, I can’t recall the exact name, was so salty he could not eat it. I had the escape burger and it was 10/10. Service could have been better and friendlier, there were only two other couples at the bar and we did wait for long periods of time of drinks, our bill, boxes, etc. we will be back for a different burger and to try the stuffed mushrooms and peppers!

I've been there through a few owners. Nicest it's ever been.Vegetarian options: They have any bottle you want.

Five stars as you have to know what to expect as the place is out of the way and not a new fancy place. Just a bar in a small town. Fun place, food and drinks were good. The bar tender knew her stuff and was very friendly. If we get in that part of town again we will definitely stop!
