Go-to harris teeter, or lowes deli for best sandwiches; second, a jersey mike’s is much better. use them store delis with good meat for best sandwiches; I've actually been filling better subway than I do today. also the personal is very good, only bad about the sights of the entire firefight.
I was just in Firehouse a few times because I think they're overpriced. You usually have to order additional meat to bite a decent sandwich. They offer daily specials that my friends at the end always seemed much bigger than my more expensive, regular price option. The sandwich was tasty and prepared me, but honestly the bread radiated the rest. Unfortunately, the day we were there, the guy who took the orders had no customer service. When I approached the counter, I received no greeting nor gave it a single word when I stood there and tried to find out what I wanted. He just didn't seem to be there. These are the main reasons for the low assessment. However, on the flip side, the restaurant was clean and other males seemed to enjoy their meals like my companions. It was the lunchtime during the working week and there was a pretty good stream of people coming.
My son and I walked in behind a white customer and heard and saw that he was greeted with a hello welcome to firehouse subs... We walked up and no one greeted us until I smiled and said hello to the one to take our order. It was already an awkward feeling for us both as my 10 yr old pointed it out to me first. But we were willing to see would it get better. We ordered 4 sub's, all at which we thought were hot subs. We didn't stay to eat, as we were picking subs up for baseball practice. We went to the park to eat before practice and upon opening our containers all the sub's were cold. Nothing is hot nor warm. Also it was clearly printed on the receipt to not put cheese on my sons turkey sandwich and it was full of cheese. I tried to call them but the phone messaging system was full. So I went back in person to let them know and the manager fixed my son a new and bigger sandwich. He was nice and friendly. And i think the first arrival may have been a misunderstanding. They remembered me and was very helpful in getting what I needed for my son. I will try them again. As my google reviews show I am big on customer service.
Cane in for lunch and cashier was good she was polite and detailed about taking my order, food was prepared fast and it was good.
Really good subs but definitely on the pricey side. Location is usually very clean. The staff sometimes could move a little faster.
