Rice House - Clear Lake

Oh, my God! If I or my Ohana is sick, Won Ton Soup is always our goal. Our normal place was closed today (Sunday) and took a chance and drove to Clear Lake. I ordered 2 normal Won tone soups and 2 Sumgum Won tone soups. I was very glad to say the least. I usually order Wor Won Ton, but here in the Middle West it's hard to come. Mahalo Rice House! Well done. We will try your other dishes again!

The restaurant itself is small and outdated, but you would be surprised if you try the food. Absolutely delicious and huge portions! The staff is also very friendly.

Ricehouse. No Frills here, but this is my favorite of Clear Lakes Chinese options. There's nothing special about the menu, it's just your typical American Chinese farewell, but it's always fast and delicious.

Nice little place near Mason City, IA. The food tastes good and the portion size is great in view of its low prices. Very wide selection and many vegetarian options. Went on Christmas day and there was only one lady with and cooking orders. The place was extremely cold as if the heat wasn't even switched on.

The food is very good, but I like spicy food, and I ordered a spicy dish. However I think they have reduced the spiciness maybe for American tastes? My food was not spicy. Again my food tasted very good just not spicy enough. I will be asking for some chili oil to add to my meal next visit, lol. Very nice people working there. I recommend this place.
