Billy's Burger Land - Clearfield

I’m giving this restaurant three stars because I was really excited to try Billy's, but when I arrived, they were closed even though their hours indicated they should be open. I'll give them another shot on my next visit to the area.

The waitstaff was friendly, but they only checked in once for a coffee refill, so I found myself having to approach the window for anything else I needed. When it was time to pay, I noticed I was charged a few extra dollars compared to what was on the check. When I asked the waitress about it, she informed me there was a credit card surcharge and thought it was 3.8%. I looked around and questioned why there wasn't a sign indicating this extra charge beforehand; she then rummaged through some papers by the register to show me the information. If I had seen a notice, I would have opted to pay in cash. I believe it's unfair for the credit card fee not to be disclosed to customers in advance. All in all, the food was acceptable, the service was friendly but lacking, and the atmosphere was small and reminiscent of a diner.

The fried chicken and potato wedges are absolutely amazing! The homemade chili is fantastic, and the house-made coleslaw, which is a secret recipe, is excellent. The service is friendly and very helpful. This place is definitely a must-visit!

Food is good . If your looking for a small town mom and pop spot this is it . Pricing is ok . Not fond of charging u extra to use a credit card when u r spending 40 or 50 on a family of 3

We visited yesterday, and I had the pork with sauerkraut and potatoes. It also came with a hot dog, a piece of kielbasa, a cabbage roll, and apples. Everything was delicious and had a homemade taste, even the apples! The prices are good, and the staff is friendly. The place may not be fancy, but it’s clean and a great spot for breakfast and lunch. We will definitely be coming back, even if we’re in Reynoldsville.
