The staff was always extremely friendly and polite as well. The 2 pools werepretty packed most of the time and I don't blame them, the infinity pool was awesome and the view you get from it isbreathtaking. Great location with so many things to do within walking distance. Highly recommend if you plan on going andstaying in Clearwater
Just spent a week there. It?s not too bad, but it?s lacking practicality. The one king bedroom with a hide a bed, isn?t very functional for a week stay, mainly because of the bathroom. One, there?s no fan in there. Two, there?s barely a place to hanga towel. The bathroom area is divided into two areas. The other has no place to hang even a hand towel, so you?re going to useup all your counter place. Plus, the second part has no real privacy. Being that close to the beach and pool, you are going tochange your clothes a lot. Ladies would you want yourself and children having to change in one very small bathroom? How abouthanging a siding door there or at least a curtain. Breakfast is a joke and the hidden fees will cost you more than you think. Parking $30 a day in cash at the hotel. Amenity fee is $29 per day as well and that?s taxable, so enjoy. Pool is full of urineas well. There?s little construction finishing jobs that?s aren?t done either. Hotel was just thrown together to make money, not anything high standard. Above average just slightly, will likely go somewhere else next time. I?ll give it a 3.2 star.
Who is this Jimmy because he’s got quite a few dining options in Clearwater Beach? They all have the same bar-vibe, food menu and dining experience – mostly rooftops with a great view. I’ve been to Jimmy’s Crows Nest and now Jimmy’s on the Edge, and both experiences were identical. This Jimmy’s is located on the rooftop of The Edge Hotel which is south of the Pier. We walked from the Hilton – just about 15 minutes om the main road along the beach. We had no issues finding the restaurant. You just take the elevator off the parking garage up to the top floor. There are signs that direct you. The restaurant was not busy at all during our meal, but the service was quite slow. The menu options have changed a bit then what is pictured on their website – no more onion rings. We started with the Iguana Pretzel. It was okay, but nothing special. I think it can be shared easily among four people. On top of the slower service during a generally slow night, my salad order came our wrong, the frozen drink machine was broken, and our waitress just really didn’t seem to care about our experience. We left before the sun even set because we just didn’t care to spend more time being ignored. I imagine for those just looking for a drink and a view, this is an excellent option. I wouldn’t call it kid or family friendly though I did see a small family while we were there. As I said, I wasn’t impressed. Maybe try a different Jimmy’s?
My nachos where amazing but I only wished that they had more options for vegetarian. I only rated it 4 stars for the lack of vegetarian options but for the taste of the nachos I would rate it 5 stars. I also had a cruzan mango hurricane which was also amazing. If you’re a fan of cruzan rum then this drink pictured to the left is a must. They had a lot of cruzan rum drinks to pick from. Also happy hour is from 3pm -6pm and some selection of drinks and all appetizers are 25% off. The nachos are on the appetizers and you can clearly see in the picture it’s a big portion. I was unable to finish it but it’s worth a try if you’re a cheesy type of person like myself.
Bad service. Had to go up to bar to ask for menus. And even after asking for menus did not receive service. Other people had service before us when they arrived after we did.
