Angie's Grill On Drew Street

A friend recommended Angie's Grill, so I decided to stop by for lunch today. The restaurant was tidy, clean, and nicely decorated. The server was attentive and very friendly. I ordered a cheesesteak and fries, and it was amazing. The fries were super crispy and served in their own basket, which is a nice touch. I will definitely return!

Ina, the owner, is fantastic. The food was excellent. We felt a little disheartened by the prices at first, but since prices have increased everywhere, Angie's rates are actually quite competitive. We will definitely return.

To make matters worse, a homeless woman entered the restaurant and began yelling at a man, creating quite a scene. Fortunately, she was eventually asked to leave. Overall, our first experience was very disappointing, and we won't be returning. The only reason I’m giving it one star is that the waitress was nice and had a great personality.

I got takeout here a couple of months ago and it was great, so I just recently gave the restaurant a 5 star review. However, after our experience this weekend I had to change it. We were a little confused when we walked into the restaurant because nobody really acknowledged that we were there. After several minutes, someone told us we could sit anywhere, so we did. We must have sat there for at least 10 min, without as much as someone putting down a menu or saying they'd be right with us. It's like we weren't even there. Oh, and the two larger parties that arrived after us gave drink orders and received them while we sat there waiting. So we ended up just walking out. Really disappointing.

Yummy breakfast! Strawberry sauce was homemade and perfect for the French toast. Each table has the cutest different salt and pepper shakers. Our table has lamas! We?ll be back.
