Filomena Cucina Italiana - CLEMENTON

I was with my mother on Monday night. From looking for their website I thought it was a beautiful restauraunt and we would sit with white table cloth etc. Instead, we sat in the bar that was a disappointment. Undoubtedly we looked stupid; I was in dress shoes. Our server Anastatsi welcomed us and took our drinks immediately. Their service was a little slow, but it showed that there were two servers for this night, so slowness is understandable. The restauraunt was very clean everywhere. Also in the bar area. This is the first time I was recently with a residual auraunt without complaints about cleanliness. My mother has the four course contract. For an appetizer, she had got the cheese steak rolls and boy they were delicious. We separated them, but there were only two and they were not big. I had the French onion soup. The cheese was a little undercooked, but the soup was very well prepared. My mom said her salad was very average tasting. For dinner I had her specialty Dish, Chicken Filomena, and oh my gosh was great! I ate everything. I'm not even really in the meals with mushrooms with them, but that wasn't disappointed. My mom said they enjoyed her chicken meal, the Valencia. To dessert, the server actually brought a tray to preview the selections that was quite cool. I got the chocolate Mouss Oreo and my mother got a canoli with her four course. My cake was perfect! I rarely eat cakes, but I would get it completely back. And for her bread, the regular bread was fine, but they had a spiced one that was charming. Our bill came to over $70. To give a fair assessment seems difficult. I was quite upset that we were placed in the bar area, which expected a better setting. But some of the foods were very good, like the cake. I suppose that's more or less a place to just go out. Family friendly restaurant with delicious food! I went for a small family reunion and was impressed with the wide variety of menu items and the friendly customer service. Their pizza bread appetizer is amazing! I will be be back!

Filomena's is an outstanding restaurant! The food and service are consistently excellent. I recommend making your reservations in advance or the day before, as it tends to be quite busy. The bartenders are exceptional, and the bar features live music on Saturday nights. I highly recommend this place—it's one of my favorites!

I have no complaints, only positive things to say. The atmosphere was charmingly old Italian and very cozy. The service was quick and friendly. The food was hearty and delicious, with generous portions that are perfect for sharing. Plus, the prices were excellent.

Food and service was good. We were part of a large group everything flowed well from salad to entree to dessert. Was a little different having chicken Parm with mashed potatoes instead of pasta, but everything was good
