The waiter was very friendly and worked hard to communicate with us. We ended up with... grilled chicken, a steak that was a bit chewing, but tasty and domestic pommes. This with a bottle of water, two pots of ice and a large coffee came to €26, which was appropriate for the area. We'd stop when we come by.
Here is a quick lunch on the way home from the Verdun battlefields. Monsieur was a little gruesome and clearly unimpressed that we wanted a main course. Food was not large overcooked toned vegetables) but it was the only place open on this... outside the season visit. Clean, but grim decorated.

I went to the ice several times and it's always good.
We've been going to the ice for a very long time - because it was in its old location.
