Mary's Wine Tapas - Clevedon

What a beautiful hidden gem this is. We traveled down from Surrey for a wedding that coincided with our anniversary so booked Mary’s a few months ago. The restaurant is beautifully laid out, the decor is perfect and the staff very attentive. I’m heavily pregnant and was made to feel very comfortable. Then there is the food!!! The food was honestly the best we had in a long time. We chose a few tapas dishes to start and then shared the paella for main. My fella has a big appetite. There was a big selection of drinks, I only wish I could have tried a few Gins. My partner had bottled beer. Pricing was reasonable too. I personally would have paid a lot more. I will definitely recommend to others

I have strolled past this restaurant so often over the years on my way to the seafront or off to meet friends, Every time I 've looked in at its warm, cosy, elegant and busy interior and reminded myself that I have to see what it 's all about.. Tonight, I did. Lovely people, a sophisticated though unstuffy coziness, friendly service, reasonable prices, and wonderful food. And did anyone say white chocolate rice pudding ?

Had tapas on a Tuesday lunchtime. Food was outstanding, really tasty. Service was efficient and friendly too. Only gripe is the dust! Not very clean. Even the cutlery had a couple days worth on it!

First visit and was very impressed! Great food, good value, good portions, service and atmosphere were great too. Will definitely go back. Thank you.

Really lovely lunch here! Lots of gluten free options even for my husband who is gluten free and vegetarian. Lovely decor and really friendly staff. Highly recommended.
