Alea - Cleveland

Living in the area for 3 years now, and wondered why we have never really tried alea. Well we attempted to go for my birthday this year, just for 2, we walked in a 8PM on a saturday (open till 11? and they were fully committed whatever that means, open seats at the bar did not even offer it. And they don 't really take reservations. Guess we 'll never get to try. Be careful with your time!Update: my father attempted to go to Alea a couple weeks later, I warned him but tried not to turn him off from the place in case he was able to be seated, he loves Mediterranean food, doesn 't go out much, and was excited to try. Unfortunately, same thing happened to him after he drove out from the suburbs. He messaged me asking for last minute recommendations for nearby, I told him to check out Amba around the corner and he had a great experience there :

Absolutely loved my experience here. I am a chef by trade, and I was blown away by the food and precision of everything prepared. Best meal I have had in a long time. Kudos to the Alea team!
