Dave's Cosmic Subs - Cleveland

This place is absolutely amazing! The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. My son, who is usually quite shy in new environments, felt at ease thanks to the playful interactions with the staff, even though they were busy. I ordered the veggie sub with a few modifications, and they were more than happy to accommodate me. Let me tell you, it was incredible! The bread had the perfect balance of crispiness and softness, and it held up wonderfully with the variety of vegetables inside. I was really impressed by the balance of flavors and textures, which can be hit or miss with veggie sandwiches. I also got some fries, which paired perfectly with the sub's tanginess—and the portion was HUGE! After this experience, I plan to return weekly as a little treat for myself. I absolutely love this place!

This is a fantastic little sub shop. You place your order at the counter, and since there are only a few tables, most customers likely opt for takeout. I chose to eat at a bar stool at the small bar area. The meatball sub was outstanding! They offer a wide variety of both hot and cold subs. The service was great as well.

I was in town for a convention, and my colleagues and I came across this restaurant just across the street. We’re so glad we did! We ended up dining here for lunch for three consecutive days. We even joked about coming back for dinner, although we had business meals scheduled at other places. During two of my visits, I ordered the meatball sub because I enjoyed it so much. I highly recommend it, especially if you love garlic—ask them to add a little extra! On the third day, I tried the Reuben, but unfortunately, it wasn't anything special. The chips are good, and they offer a nice selection of drinks, too. I also appreciated the classic rock posters adorning the walls; they provided some entertaining reading while we waited for our food. It’s worth mentioning that the restaurant is quite small and very popular during lunchtime. There are only three tables, seating about 6 to 9 people total, and the line quickly fills up most of the waiting area. However, the food is definitely worth it, so just plan ahead!

The food here is good as per usual but the customer service I received was not up to par. I sat in to eat and other people who came in out to me got way better customer service. Is it because I'm black?

Does not disappoint. Maybe the best damn sub I've had in the 15 years. Went with the Original #1 No Tomatoes. You will have garlic breath afterwards but it's well worth it. Toasty crunchy bun, loaded with meat and toppings and perfectly seasoned
