Jacob's Oasis Gourmet Middle Eastern Foods

LOVE LOVE Jacob's Oasis!!! I went today and the gentleman behind the counter (who was very friendly and efficient) gave me a free falafel.

I moved to the Northeast Ohio area from Montreal, which has a huge Mediterranean food scene. I've been looking for a place to fulfill my cravings and this place is the absolute best I've found. The garlic sauce is incredible! The tabbouleh is also fantastic along with the pita chips. Can't wait to go back and try more!

Turned a corner in West Side Market and was greeted by a jaw dropping variety of homemade hummus! Customer service was spectacular as she guided me through her favorites, thoughtfully asked about my palate, offered suggestions and lots of samples! Even if I didn't buy the sampled product, every bite was packed with flavor most assuredly homemade! Decided on 4 different types (3 lbs total) and only paid $16! Hands down will be purchasing again letting my taste buds tell me what to get! WELL worth the drive from Youngstown for this vendor alone!

Hummus is good, but they close early sometimes so keep that in mind when you go there. Was very disappointed to drive all the way down town and not be able to shop there.
