Pizzaiolo - Cliff Island

Pizzaiolo is hands-down THE BEST pizza in Portland. I recently had to move away from there, and I'm devastated at the loss of this place. There's nothing else like it around! Real NY pizza is hard to come by, especially by the slice, which are HUGE. The people that work there have always been great to me and I will miss them as well!

Great red sauce! I also loved the white stone pizza with pepperoni ricotta too. This is #1 pizza in Maine for me so far. Spectacular flavor that's light but still cheesy with a crunchy under carriage. Can't wait to come back! ??

Pizza slices were huge ! Friendly staff kind of pricey .

Ate here many times pizza is usually decent but I walked in behind a group of people and then two more came in behind me, he took the order from the people in front of me then let the people behind me cut me and took there order. I'm not the type to complain so I just walked out, I won't be back.

Best Pizza in Maine, The dough, the sauce, the cheese. Closest thing ive had to it was in N.Y. its so good I try to get it anytime I'm in Portland. Met the owner today great guy! He made a pizza for me before they were even open. Absolutely delicious! Thank you
