Tipo - Cliff Island

The wood fired pizza ? at Tipi is incredible!? I also enjoyed the cauliflower dip. Wait staff are very knowledgeable about the menu and ingredients. They have a lovely patio. I endorse Tipo as a top-quality pizza restaurant!

I ordered two pizzas for pick up and it was pouring rain and they were so nice to bring it out to my car. I really appreciated that. However, both pizzas were too salty to enjoy. My 97-year-old father said it burned his tongue. I called to complain and they did not offer anything but a week apology and telling me they would let the kitchen know. I worked in restaurants for years and that is just not good business.

Stayed in back cove area of Portland and walked to this gem. Everything was delicious! Great pizza with the air bubbles, fantastic pasta cabanas authentic REAL Italian cooking. Te salads are creative and outstanding, can’t miss at this place! Bar stools low back uncomfortable and no hooks for purse.

Great food and all of the staff were great and really friendly. Everything was super yummy. I will definitely have to come back

Hostess held back primo tables that were never filled. Server brought chech before we finished eating. Never asked us if we wanted desert. I recommend training for the staff. Disillusioned neighbor.
