Mi Pueblo Express - Clinton

I really enjoy the original Mi Pueblo in Detroit and would be happy to eat there again. However, this location doesn't quite match up. The staff appeared annoyed that we were dining in, even though I had already tipped before being served. The California Super Burrito was noticeably smaller than the ones I usually get in Detroit. The other dishes ordered by our group were either overcooked or cold. The only highlight was the Botana, which was just as good as the one from Detroit.

Today, our tacos were very dry and lacked flavor. Even squeezing lime on them did not improve the taste. We ordered a 12-pack of tacos with ground beef and steak, but ended up giving up on them because they were so unappetizing.

As soon as I walked into the restaurant, I felt right at home. The staff, Lilliana, Natalie, and Paulina, greeted me warmly and helped me place my order. The food here is amazing! I tried the steak quesadillas and they were cooked perfectly. The atmosphere and music made me feel like I was in Mexico. I also enjoyed a Sidral (apple soda) which was refreshing. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back. Wheelchair accessibility: They offer handicap parking with a ramp for easy access into the building.

Burnt chorizo. That's what I was served. I wondered why the first taco tasted so weird and not what I was used to. It's because whoever made the tacos I ordered burnt the chorizo and this place has no respect for their customers and they served it to me anyway. This used to be one of my go-to spots, but now I'm going to have to seriously reconsider. If you care so little about your customers that you're willing to serve them completely burnt chorizo, it makes me wonder what else is jacked up at this place. Potential customers beware, this is the kind of thing that is deemed acceptable at this establishment.
