Subway - Clinton

Buyer beware! Stay away from this location. They've significantly increased their prices, charging $8.00 for a meatball, which feels like a total rip-off! This is the only Subway I've been to that never has any promotions or sales on anything. During my visit tonight, the staff member was extremely rude, and they were out of most items. There was no chicken, no meatballs, and everything looked unappetizing!

Today’s experience was not up to par compared to my usual visits. They had a new employee in training, which unfortunately resulted in some mistakes with our order. I requested double meat on one sandwich, but it arrived without any meat at all. The other sandwich, which was meant to be untoasted, ended up getting toasted. I’m giving a 2-star rating based solely on today’s experience. Normally, I would rate them 4 stars, as I understand that errors can occur during training.

I tried to go through the drive-thru today, but the employee was very rude, so we ended up leaving. I was really disappointed. My daughter wanted meatballs for her school picnic, and we had to drive to the location on the interstate instead, which means we might be late. The girl was so unfriendly that we didn’t even feel comfortable having her prepare our food. I’ve never had a bad experience here before. I guess this is what happens when places struggle to find staff. It’s really unfortunate.

6/3/21 *update* This location has new employees, is very shorthanded even during lunch dinner rushes. The new kid is a bit slow but got my order right so I don't mind being extra patient. The store was slighty messy, but I just missed the lunch rush so no biggie. 2016 I didn't have time to pack a lunch today, so here I am. Props to the ladies that finished my order in 5 minutes! This location has a drivethru! I always get the Chicken Pizziola: Chicken with Pepperoni, Marinara Mozzarella.

The women working 8-5-2021 at lunch time deserve a reward for customer service! Especially the drive through attendant. She was courteous, friendly, patient, and kind. Plus, she made a great sandwich. It was a busy lunch time and I just wanted to commend her excellence.
