Lou's Diner - Cloverdale

We had a great experience at Lou's Diner! We are on our way back to Pennsylvania from Missouri. They were super busy, but our waitress let us know. She took super great care of us and everyone else! The food was all so good. Everything tasted homemade. We had the saturday special, chicken and ribs. Our boys had the steak and spaghetti and meatballs. We also had the coconut cream pie, peach pie and carrots cake. It was all wonderful. They also got everyone to sing happy birthday to my husband. It was great! Everyone was so nice. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Delicious down-home food. Staff were super kind and helpful. Very reasonable prices. Don't be fooled by the outside appearance. The actual entrance doesn't face the street, and it's nicer. It's not an upscale restaurant, but it's clean with good food, good people, and good service. It's comfortable, not pretentious, and you'll enjoy the food and people.

Excellent food, cozy and friendly!! Everyone here is so sweet and I’ve never had a bad meal. Service is phenomenal. Big kudos for Lou’s for providing such a great place for Cloverdale.

I've been a bartender for 5 years, and I only wish that we could provide the service we received here..... I brought my kids to have dinner, traveling back to Nebraska, we got drinks, my one kid got a kids meal, other kid got the daily special, and I got the half spaghetti.... our bill was only $23.... I spend more than that at any fast food I go to. The food was absolutely delicious... AND SO AFFORDABLE! Which makes it better because I could tip the server more! Who was also amazing. Everyone was so friendly.. clean areas and bathrooms.... I wish we had something like this closer to where we live! Keep up the great work!

We were staying at Lieber and got recommended this place. Excellent home cooked food.
