Chronic Tacos - Clovis

This place has really gone downhill. 3 out of the last 4 times I have gone it's been closed!! They just randomly close whenever. I am not longer wasting my time, I'll take my money elsewhere.

Wife brought me here and I was very disappointed. I ordered a bowl and everything was ok except for the protein. I got asada, which they charge an extra $1, so my assumption was it must be better quality meat. Boy was I wrong, it was terrible. Meat was extremely fatty and chewy. Can't speak about the other proteins but stay away from the asada.

Never let down by the tacos. Staff is always courteous and quick and the restaurant is clean and neat.

So while I've enjoyed Chronic Tacos for quite a while now (serviceable food and close to work , I will say that today was my last time giving them my business. The staff member was quite actively rude and dismissive during the entire ordering process, and ended our exchange by walking away and leaving my food on their side of the counter (so I had to reach around to grab it myself after paying at the machine myself . I totally understand having some workplace apathy in customer service (been there, done that myself! , but this seemed more like an active effort by the employee to be dismissive.

Place Is Great! Burritos are delicious and the staff is welcoming! Will Happily come back again!
