Charley Cafe - Cluj-Napoca

At least once a year I have been involved for the last few years. It happened to go with business partners last night. There were some very stylish, sophisticated people standing in front, so we gave it a try. All tables were occupied or reserved. We were a group of four and got bar seats immediately. We ordered small plates (Hamburger and I had a goat cheese salad). The selection of wine and beer is very limited, but the choice of whisky is one of the best I have seen in Europe. Hundreds of bottles. One of my colleagues is based in Edinburgh and even he was impressed by the number of highland single malts. The choice of Japanese whisky is better than anywhere I saw outside Tokyo or Osaka. The food was excellent and we had a long lively conversation with the excellent Barmann. The crowd is well dressed and demanding. 4 hours after our arrival we ended our absinthe, and we were on our way back to the hotel. I'll be back soon.

We visited a Thursday evening and the place was full and the atmosphere of the place was lively. The place also has a terrace. Fast service and friendly waiter.

The location is excellent and the rooms are very nice for the price. The attitude of the waiters is disgusting.
