La Casa - Cluj-Napoca

This location in La Casa is one of the best in Cluj-Napoca. You can go amazing desserts and cheap food (I recommend the caesar salad) but the main feature is probably the restaurant. Design and atmosphere are up and yet prices are decent. In addition to the specialties in the standard menu, the menu of the day is always delicious and serving is really fast. I recommend this place to anyone who crosses the museum square!

Fast service despite settlement and the food was very good. Prices are not overrated as most central places are. The tables are kind of tight together so you feel uncomfortable when the entire place is full. Everything in all would be for food, drinks and nice service

Good food, fast service, beautiful ambience.

At the end of the street, it was quite empty when we got there. However, we read some reviews and after the first three places we wanted to visit were closed due vacation or too busy, we decided to go to La Casa. I took the risotto with mushrooms and my girlfriend the rump steak. My risotto lacked flavor and the steak was closed to done than medium done. Her steak was still tender though and the sauce was okay. Wine was good. For what we were served, I think the price was a bit steep. Also the waiter did appear not too friendly, yet he was appropriate. I wouldn't go here again, there are better alternatives but be sure to make a reservation beforehand

Only go here as a last resort. The food will never amaze you, their sweets are second rate and the staff is slow, clumsy and just doesn't care. I only go here because it's close to my office and I have to squeeze lunch in 30 minutes or less.
