Feedback gevenWe were here in 2016 and enjoyed the frog legs. We made a reservation for lunch and had a great fixed-price meal. The snails were unctuous and had a hint of pastis— a nice touch. The frog legs were also quite good. Definitely got our fill of garlic and parsley butter! The chef has been here 15 years and is very dedicated to his art. Definitely worth visiting!
Our B&B recommended this casual restaurant right near the center of Cluny and the national horse center (Hamas). We received a warm welcome, without a reservation, just after noon. By 12:30 or 1:00, tthe place was full and noisy with happy diners. It was a cold day in May; otherwise, we would have enjoyed dining outside on their nice terrace. We loved our food: escargots and salmon entrees, frogs legs and chicken mains. The frites served with both main courses were great. However, we are not used to such rich food! This is not a complaint, but you need to be aware that this restaurant enjoys presenting you with lots of cream and butter in most of their dishes. We rolled out of there very happy but too full. But guess what? We plan to go back before we leave the area! Enjoy!
The meal was excellent served very hot. We were 12 fast service. refined cuisine. Charming waiter. only small bemol: desserts. very limited menu: white cheese, toast with burnt cream and lost bread. Too bad because at the level of the dishes there is a choice. Go for an effort on desserts and chiche we will return.
The kitchen is good. But the chief seems to have a difficult character, because if you have ordered the dauphinois gratin as accompaniment, according to his mood he serves you fries without asking your opinion, it is normal! no suggestion, no commercial gesture to repair the harm, you pay for a dish that you cannot eat! the server is very unpleasant, if it feels the problem, it avoids you :) I pass his unpleasant remarks and non-respect to the customer....Prices are high in my taste too.I advise you to go to this restaurant!
It's safe that it's hard to explain a salad made up when you put four leaves of salad in your plate accompanied by two cherry tomatoes bathing in an improbable sauce but it's not a reason to treat people like m. This server is unpleasant and above all incompetent it has spilled salad sauce on my husband's shirt's back without apology and doing as if nothing had happened (the first time such an experience happens to us!). most dishes are frozen except salad of course!!! a little humor doesn't hurt! In addition to the order it is mistaken in the dish of the day it announces skewer foam while it is.................poulet, there I suspect a superchery?...........We better understand why in the middle of the season we were six customers when we went to another restaurant it seemed crowded. This restaurant not maintained the surroundings leave to desire different business drag on the aspect aspect vieillot everything is like the "uncomfortable" server to quickly forget!
