Taqueria El Jimador - Clute

The burritos were priced at $12 each and I found them to have more sweetness than fajita meat. Additionally, ordering extra chips for $3 only resulted in receiving a small portion equivalent to a 50 cent bag of chips. The quesadilla was thinly coated and watery. Overall, I was not satisfied with the portion sizes and felt that for $60, I could have gotten much more food elsewhere. I will most likely not be ordering from this restaurant again.

It has been a while since I have been disappointed by Barbacoa and El Jimador. They are consistently excellent and I always feel at home when I visit.

I can't say enough about the staff at this restaurant - they were absolutely amazing. They greeted us as soon as we walked in and we were able to seat ourselves. Within minutes, a friendly waitress came to take our order. The margaritas were delicious and just the right strength. As for the food, I had the tacos which were seasoned perfectly. My boyfriend had the nachos and I couldn't resist stealing some - they were tender and well-spiced. The manager even came to check on us after our food was served. Overall, I would give this restaurant a 10/10 and would highly recommend it - even the smell of the food as it passes by is mouth-watering!

I've been going to this place for years and love it. The food is always excellent and the wait staff are the best.

Food and service are excellent! Best thing about this place is that you can smoke inside! Prices are very accessible and food plates very generous!
