The soup had a distinct mainland Chinese flavor, and the texture of the rice noodles was good, albeit lacking in spiciness. Each dish came with a refreshing iced lemon tea ($2) to accompany it. The spicy crispy pork belly ($28) had a balanced portion size with a satisfying texture that was not too tough or soft. The highlight was the super tasty spicy sauce that could be used to dip the fish or as a sauce for noodles. Though there was a noticeable flavor enhancer, it was expected and not too overwhelming. I would definitely come back to try the sour fish dish again.
The knife-shaved noodles are chewy and delicious, the flavor is also good, and the saliva chicken has the perfect level of spiciness.
The spare ribs were tough, but the broth was good.
