Mariscos El Capitan - Coachella

I wouldn't recommend this place. When I arrived at the restaurant, the host asked if I wanted to wait for a table for one, and I agreed. The host told me the wait would be 15 minutes, but after 45 minutes, we were still waiting. To make matters worse, a family arrived and the hostess seated them at the next table before us. When I asked the hostess if she had forgotten about my party, she simply said there were no tables available and didn't even look at me. I have never been treated this poorly in a restaurant before. We decided to leave and went to a place called Santa Fe, where the service was excellent and the food was amazing. I'm really disappointed with El Capitan; the host definitely needs customer service training.

Alittle more on the expensive side, but it is a good atmosphere with really loud banda.

I've been here a few times, and the food and atmosphere are really great. The drinks are also fantastic. My partner always orders the cucarachas, and he loves them!

I had a fantastic time at this restaurant! As a white guy, I really enjoyed hanging out with my mostly Hispanic motorcycle crew. There was live music, delicious fresh food, and good drinks at very reasonable prices. I’ll definitely be coming back for sure!

Best seafood in Coachella Valley. House margaritas are the best. They also have live music. Try las cucarachas.
