Taproom 29 - Coachella

The buffet food was ten times better than what we experienced. Honestly, it was quite disappointing. The dishes were cold, the eggs were overcooked, and we couldn't even get an answer to a simple question. The fish was both crispy and soggy at the same time, and the coleslaw was warm—which is something I've never encountered with fish and chips before. My sister ordered the filet mignon with mashed potatoes and vegetables; she seemed to enjoy it since she finished everything, or maybe she was just really hungry! I don't like leaving negative reviews, but given the prices, I expect my food to be served hot. On a positive note, our server Katy was great—thank you!

Has to be the worst service I have ever had. My brother and I arrived at 7pm to an empty restaurant was told the wait was 30min. We didn't understand why there was a wait but we waited. Then we got seated took about 20min for someone to ask us for drinks. We checked in at 7:00 left the restaurant at 9:45 not because we wanted to. Most of the time we were hopping someone would notice we where paying customers. Even to pay we had to look for the waitress to ask for the check. Then the check was wrong and waisted another 20min. Place needs better management. Gave it 1 star bc the Fillet Mignon and lobster tail where delicious. Also, the lady bussing the tables kept trying to find our waitress for us. We appreciated her help. Place Sucks take your money somewhere else.

First the staff is great, very friendly and accommodating. They were upfront about being short handed and how long it will take to be seated. The issue we experienced was the very long wait to get 2 sandwiches. Then when they did arrive every item was wrong. The main ingredients were correct but every topping and every condiment were not as described on the menu. Glad we only tried to get a simple Turkey sandwich a Pastrami sandwich and not full meals.

Came here for the awesome avocado pizza. That is the only reason for the 2 Stars. The server took 15 minutes to greet us and take our order. I saw my pizza be ready and finally asked our server about any of our food, she said oh pizza is ready, huh. Ok, got our awesome pizza. Waited another 30 minutes and finally cancelled an order of onion rings. 20 minutes after that my girl's food finally arrived (steak and lobster tail) it was not hot. Luckily we had the pizza. We recommend sitting at the bar if possible to receive decent service. I would not recommend the dinning room experience, unless you have plenty of time and patience.

The food and drinks are good, but I have to deduct three stars due to the pricing on my bill. I ordered the Baja fish tacos, which had an upgrade option for shrimp listed at $2 on the menu. However, when the bill arrived, the upgrade was charged at $4. My waitress said she spoke with the manager, but they refused to adjust the bill to match the menu price. Instead, they mentioned they were working on updating the menus to reflect the correct prices. As a result, customers can’t trust that the menu shows accurate pricing for anything they order.
