The Ranch Kitchen - Coalinga

I struggle to find the right words to describe the incredible scent that surrounds Harris Ranch. If you've ever driven on the I-5 through Central California, you're likely familiar with this distinctive odor. If you thought it was off-putting while in your car, just wait until you step out and fully experience it while dining at Harris Ranch. We quickly adjusted to the aroma and made our way to the Harris Ranch Steakhouse (where the prices are quite steep!), but after some diplomacy, we opted instead for the more affordable Ranch Kitchen just a door down for a late dinner. Unfortunately, the food was underwhelming and not noteworthy. The beef didn’t taste particularly fresh, and I doubt I’ll be returning to the Ranch Kitchen anytime soon.
