We often go for a carvery, as they know, it will be nice. Yesterday meat was so delicious and all the brittle that is good to see. the food was constantly refreshed and very nice. after that I had a banan waffel for which I should die! the staff is always helpful and we had a wheelchair driver so much appreciated. at this point they had a nice, clean, disabled wc. we will be back!
A really tasty meal, carvery, had from a party of eleven. and the young lady waiting for us was beautiful. always smiling and very attentive. thank you. we're coming back!
We had a family dinner on Sunday eating carvery. I need gluten free and the carvery is in fact very clearly marked with gf. gf yorkshire too. only no filling or sausage, but was brilliant. gravy gf ingenious, as forgotten place. filz completely safe. thanks to well-informed staff.
We started visiting this pub about a year before first lockdown. From day 1 we received a very friendly welcome, and the food is exceptional. I am writing this review to reflect our last experience, last Saturday for my mothers 75th Birthday. I had booked a limo and had family members down. I was severely let down by the limo which meant, not only did we arrive late to the pub, but, I had a further hour delay sorting out prob less with the limo. The Cauvery was due to close at around 7pm, due to lack of customers because of the pandemic. The landlord, who is so friendly and accommodating held the Cauvery for me, as he could see I was in a very difficult position. The food was outstanding, the service, as always, perfect, and, they brought out a birthday cake for my mother and sang happy birthday. So not only did they hold the Cauvery open for us, but, they also held the pub open for us and did not rush us at all. As ev er a fantastic experience, and I only hope this wonderful place makes it through the pandemic, it would be a terrible loss otherwise. Thank you very much all at the Badminton Arms :
