Charnwood Arms, Hungry Horse

For years, I've been visiting the Charnwood Arms. While the quality of the food isn't the highest, the prices are so reasonable that you can't expect top-notch cuisine. What it lacks in quality, it makes up for in quantity. If you're looking for an affordable, satisfying meal and aren't too particular about frozen food, Charnwood Arms is the perfect spot for you!

This restaurant, now known as Hungry Horse, serves massive portions, so it's not ideal for those watching their calorie intake! The food is delicious, but there are few salad and low-calorie options on the menu. The atmosphere is lovely, and the space is easy to navigate. The staff is very accommodating, especially for two members of our party who had mobility issues. Overall, it's a great place to enjoy a wonderful meal without breaking the bank!

Eating and drinking was very good. my fish was a bit dry, but I still enjoyed my meal. they have a good choice of beer and ales. my table could have been deleted after the last customer, so I dropped a star for it. the staff was very friendly and polite.

The restaurant is attractive and offers great value for money. It's very child-friendly, clean, and beautifully decorated. The staff is friendly and helpful.

They have fantastic deals, the picture below is based on the Saturday deal whereby each wooded plate is 7.50! Can't go wrong with such a price. However it wasn't the tastiest to reach 5 stars
