Castle John's Cobourg

My husband, daughter, and I visited for a nice dinner on a Friday. Unfortunately, our server was inattentive. We ordered appetizers that arrived after our main courses. The food on one plate was lukewarm, while the other was completely cold. We paid $120 for a disappointing experience, both in terms of service and food temperature. The server only checked on us once to see if we needed anything. This is the second time I've had this experience at this restaurant, and we won’t be returning for a third try.

I had a late lunch and the service was outstanding. I ordered a club sandwich with fries, and it was incredibly delicious.

I visited this restaurant with a large group of 35 people and booked a week in advance, but I would not recommend it. After waiting for over 2.5 hours, many of us, including children, still hadn't received our meals. The staff failed to communicate any issues or offer solutions. This was possibly the worst restaurant experience I've ever had; if I could give a zero rating, I definitely would. We are usually patient and accommodating, but this dining experience was a disaster.

Bought meals for take out and food was great!! The only issue i had is that it was not mentioned that burgers have no condiments added. Being we are on a trip, we only discovered that once it was too late. Would be great if this was considered to bementioned when someone takes out food.
