Dreamer's Cafe - Cobourg

This charming and rustic cafe and gift shop is a must-visit in the area! They offer a special cookie called the "crazy cookie" which is loaded with deliciousness. They also have a variety of desserts, ice cream, and milkshakes, as well as delicious coffees. I can't wait to come back!

You can find many kinds of sweets. Also, their coffees are pretty good. It is very sweet as a small business. The cafe also provides self service. The decoration of the cafe is beautiful. Cheesecakes are delicious. The raspberry cheesecake was very different. when i go again i will try the chocolate desserts.

5 stars because 10 are not available. Amazing place to try almost everything on the menu. Pastries to coffee to ice cream, fantastic food. You will not be disappointed with anything. Very clean and comfortable big place with an excellent view.

This is a must visit if you are spending time in Port Hope. The coffee is great and they offer dairy alternatives. Their Crazy Cookies are amazing as are all the baked goods here. They have a great lunch menu too with some vegan and vegetarian options. As a Port Hope resident I go here almost daily and sometimes twice in a day!

I would give this cafe a 3-star rating solely based on its whimsical concept. However, my experience was disappointing. The table was dirty, which was concerning due to Covid. The teapot was in horrible condition, making it difficult for me to enjoy my tea. The breakfast menu was small, but the pancakes and sandwich we ordered seemed to be reheated and not freshly made. I had visited this cafe before for pastries and thought it would be a good spot for breakfast, but I was let down this time. Despite the potential of the location and concept, I will not be returning.
