Oasis Bar & Grill - Cobourg

I went to this restaurant with a group of friends for dinner. All of our meals were delicious, well-prepared, and served promptly. Our waiter was friendly and professional. I am looking forward to coming back again.

Our party of ten thoroughly enjoyed our dinners at this restaurant. The steak, fish and chips, lamb burger, Oasis Burger, and Thai noodles were all delicious. The service was friendly and efficient, the drink prices were reasonable, and the pub area was warm and cozy. It was a great night overall. Oasis has redeemed itself and we will definitely be visiting again!

Well, here we are in a beautiful city. And a nice little restaurant. It was all good, with the exception of a (terrorious mistake). And what should I do? I mean, you don't judge a child for the rest of his life, based on him throw a baseball through a window when he's 12. And that was a broken window, so to speak. But it should never have happened. Ordered something with beautiful spices that came with a lobster dick (you only get 1/2 the ****, but that's not the problem. It was bad. And it smells bad. And you could see the black gunk and it was just...bad. But it was still served. Maybe a mistake? Maybe “will we get rid of this and hope he doesn’t notice or complain?” Dunno. So I mentioned it. And they roasted it, and the next one was fine. So why the first squirting funky smell black colored lobster dick. Either negligence or appropriate. I don't want to think that the owners would behave like that, but what is the alternative option? Again, dunno. Although the rest of him was good, we won't be back. Because once this can happen, it can happen again. And I don't want to be the paying repository for all past seafood. I like fish and chips and take every opportunity to try a new restaurant. I ordered fish and chips and waited for 20 minutes to serve. The dining room was empty, so no other guests. Very disappointed about the long-awaited food. Two...small pieces of fish packed in a thick blanket of a kind of dough, like a corn dog and soggy to boot!!! Absolutely terrible! I told the server that was randomly the manager, and all she said was today another guest told me that it was the best fish and chips he ever tasted! What a rude comment. She must take a course in customer service!! So I gave them another chance to serve fish and chips and I waited for another 15 minutes. Unfortunately the same bad fish. At some point, I wasn't charged for dinner, but I was still hungry! Oasis has changed owners several times and the current seems to know nothing about food or customer service. The same applies to personnel and managers. Consider another place if you want to eat when you visit Cobourg.

We waited for to min. At the front entrance, no one came, the restaurant wasn't busy at all. When we sat in the back corner outside in the patio, the smell of garbage was very strong. I also believe there was a wasp nest under...the deck portion as there was wasps flying all around us. The food took 3/4 of an hour to arrive. Mediocre hamburger and fries at best. Two young staff serving, running their feet off. Won't be back
