It was not too busy, had a large selection, but only one employee worked, so it took very long to order and get food. Our party...of 5 got 4 Diner Kebab and 1 order from Schinitzel with Fritten. The parts are large, but we waited longer on a new carving plate, as a fly was fried into the top of the original. It wasn't the worst, but I wouldn't return there either. The best Kebab is still in Trier Walkplatz.
Located in the heart of Cochem, at the end of which the sightseeing tram stops, the Kebab/Pizza/Schnitzel serves restaurant, Acar Grill. When we visited the city was packed, but still nobody was here to eat and all places were empty, so... it was a very risky choice, but we were limited and hungry. We ordered two pizzas and the schnitzel of the hunter who comes with frits/chips. We spoke German with the staff, so did not test their multilingual skills, but they were friendly. Our meals were served quickly, the thin based pizzas were not the best quality, but were generous in view of their low cost. The Schnitzel was good, served with a delicious sauce, and the Pommes/Thin chips tasted good. In our rush to eat I have neglected to check for Wi-Fi, but can report that it is using clean toilets for mosquitoes that save costs 50 ¢ per person in the city center. I guess this restaurant makes the majority of its business at night, for those who are looking for a late night kebab, but don't let yourself be a lack of custom during the day, the sight and smell of our food attracted some customers until we leave.
We both ate a falafel. the sweet was cracked fresh, the broth tasty, the sauces did not taste too mayonaise (as unfortunately so often) but were more on yogurt basis. the falafel balls were unfortunately somewhat too dry and tasted us a little too much curry all the time. all in all, but a quite successful falafel. at the next visit in cochem they see us again.
Es war sehr lecker . Ich würde dort immer wieder kommen . Die Menge war echt gross wir waren super Sat
