Arkaden Restaurant - Cochem

We wanted to treat our close friends to a nice lunch. Found this place on Trip Advisor and went with high expectations. While the atmosphere is nothing to write home about, we had hope that the food would compensate. What a disappointment. I'm pretty sure that my schnitzel and fries were store bought frozen. Same goes for the calamari. Anything positive? The waitress was friendly and spoke English. The restaurant was clean. Bottom line, cannot understand all of the glowing reviews this place received.

We now been a few times. Food is very good a exceptionally hot when served. Compared to nearly all restaurants in central Cochem the value is worth highlighting. Mains and beer for two is circa €30

Leuk en mooi restaurant, goede wijn- en menukaart. Vriendelijke bediening die weet wat er geserveerd wordt. Prijs/kwaliteit verhouding is goed.

The place is amazing and the food was very delicious specially the pasta and the pizza, the service was simply amazing.
