X Golf Wayland - Cochituate

Great place to have a small friend gathering. Food, drinks and space to sit while playing the simulator made it comfortable.

The folks over at X-Golf Wayland are some of the best people I’ve met. I do the Wednesday night league and it’s always so much fun. Rob and Laura, the owners, are such great people and they make everyone feel like family while they are there! Would give 10 stars if I could.

Checked out this place the other night, love the concept. A bar, simulated golf, great music. At this location, they have 6 stalls for playing rounds by the hour. We had a tee time at 8pm, it was packed. After dropping off our clubs and bellying up to the bar, our group picked up a round while we waited on an opening. Every other group did too, and they quickly ran out of space. Once we got going in our stall, we played a round at pebble beach, they have many courses to choose from. The simulator is ok. We definitely had to over club in the fairway and putting was super fast with just a tap. But you figure it out on the first hole and it's smooth sailing from there. If you want more beverages or help, go back to the bar. For a pair, we got through 9 holes in an hour. A couple rounds of beers and two players after 5pm Monday-Thursday was right at $100 with tip. It appears there is different pricing at other times they are open.

Big fan. I go regularly. Great way to keep swinging during the cold months. Nice staff. Food and drink. What’s not to like?
