Bush Inn - Cockermouth

This is a lovely pub located right in the center of Cockermouth. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. They offer an impressive selection of well-kept cask ales (we tried three or four and they were fantastic!). The lunch menu is diverse and absolutely delicious. If you're looking for a great spot to stop by, this is definitely worth visiting. There’s convenient parking nearby as well. We will definitely be returning!

I visited for a spontaneous night out and found it to be very affordable. The owner was friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I also appreciated that they had Dalmore whisky available!

A lovely cozy pub with a very warm and welcoming owner. We felt right at home as soon as we walked in. My partner and I ordered the sweet soup, which was delicious, along with drinks from the bar. We couldn't fault the service or the attentiveness of the staff, both of which were excellent. Several other tables had beautiful meals as well, all of which looked fantastic! I highly recommend this place.

Had a wonderful afternoon drink at the bush. perfectly conditioned ales, they had 8 ales in the offer, which is a triumph in his own right. also with us who own a pub, we appreciate the hard work tim, paula and leah in the bush to keep their beer in such an acute state. it is certainly the best maintained pub in cockermouth, a real sound. will certainly be back for a **** good pint.

Had a lovely Sunday lunch here today. Really good food and plenty of it. Good selection of beers including real ales. Friendly staff and patrons. The pub had a nice wee vibe to it which we enjoyed. We will be back.
