The Trout - Cockermouth

We stayed at the ennerdale hotel in cleator, we have heard one of the waiters who told a few of the guests that if they went to cockermouth, they would recommend the hotel trout for something to eat. we decided yesterday after a nice long day to ride to foot that we would try. we forgot it was a Saturday night. the personal was nice. I think it would have been the restaurant manager who said they had a table for 2 in the al-carte restaurant. we decided to watch both menus we would eat in the bistro. both menus were good, it was just more casual eating we were looking for. it was just what is a good sign in the rule. we had a nice dinner. I had the lemon chicken, chilireis, Brocolli greens. my man had the lasagne. both meals were nice. we shared the white chocolate orange mousse that was delicious. we would recommend ourselves to definatiw and if we returned to the sea district, as we have been many times, we would return definatiw. the atmosphere and the decor are all beautiful. morag chris from Scotland.

The second time I was for the Bistro week, and once again this was not disappointed. all the decisions and courses we had were presented beautifully and very tasty. the staff was helpful and very friendly, the waiter kept the door open as we left what was a nice note. beautiful atmosphere for a relaxed, pleasant experience. I look forward to the next, or even for another meal.

Yesterday night there. our room was fabulous. that was delicious. the personal was beautiful. would definitely recommend it and will be back. if I had to find mistakes, our room was really hot. we opened the window.

Thanks to james. sue and the whole team of the trout, our high time in their hotel was everything we could wish. james, you went beyond and beyond to accept our endless desires. eating was amazing, all commented, the kitchen did amazing catering for all 72 guests. we pushed you to the border and you didn't crack! thank you again.

Champagne afternoon tea was lovely good food and good staff. The hotel dining room is a lovely warm inviting place to eat the decor is lovely
