Our server was very friendly and attentive. The prices were very reasonable. Would definitely recommend for a good lunch.
My husband ordered the ribs and I had the Briske. Both were super dry and hard. The beans that came with the brisket were decent. The colleague was terrible... not sure what went wrong. The garlic toast that came with him was good. We also ordered hush puppies and they were super hot on the outside and cold in the middle. The server was nice and she did a great job. I wish the food had been better.
The prices are excellent, waiting staff attentive, clean toilets. the Brunswick stone is the best I ever had, and the fried catfish was excellent as well as the okra. Husband had the pulled pig with Coleslaw and Pommes. Unusual frits when they looked like chips! We both got our Entrees with 2 pages and mine also came with Hushpuppies. Don't miss keeping!
We were satisfied with what we got and with the service we had. Had ribs and smoked turkeys and both were good portions. BBQ beans were particularly delicious. Both dishes came quite delicious with two large slices of garlic toast. I have a drink to go and it was HUGE! Would go back there.
Salads were wilted and made my daughter sick hours later. Service was cold and unfriendly. Hostess was grumpy in demeanor and speech. We were there for lunch on a weekday. Drinks were never refilled and it wasn't because they were busy. It was like you entered another zone, it seemed like the employees were mentally spaced out. I have eaten breakfast there in the past and it was great. I would not recommend this place again.
