Michael D's Eatery - Coeur d'Alene

This place was packed with locals on a late Tuesday morning, a sure sign the food must be good. While drinking our coffee and waiting to order, I noticed the folks at the next table eating an unusual and tempting breakfast. I asked our waitress about it and she turned to the customer and said 'Brian, he wants to know about your breakfast '. Brian proceeded to explain that Michael D. made the recipe up for him. It is not on the menu, and they call it Brian 's Breakfast. Well, what could I do? We ordered one and asked our server to split it. It ended up more than two of us could finish and was very good. There were so many tempting items on the menu, including gluten free options, that we can 't wait to come back. Good coffee, good service, and good food.

Definitely a Moms home cooking cabin! Cute little place with friendly staff. Busy place on a Sunday morning but food was hearty n great! Love trying new places!

Server was great, very friendly. Ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs with avocado which tasted delicious. Steak was cooked nicely, batter was seasoned well and the white gravy was not too peppery. The Benedict was good too, I only wish they asked how you wanted your eggs as they were too soft for me. Overall was a great restaurant for a very reasonable price.

Hey this place is awesome. Food fast friendly service. Summer was our waitress she was attentive. This is our new breakfast spot. Yummo! !!!!

Never a disapointment. The Irish scramble and Saratoga scramble rock. Coffee and a homemade cinnamon roll or zucchini bread at the counter is perfect. Yum
