Schmidty's Burgers - Coeur d'Alene

We were there when they 1st opened and BTW they’ve NOT been at that location 10 years and the food was horrible…we ordered burgers sweet potato fries. Hamburger was dry, meat overdone and fries were literally black they were so burned…I was surprised they even let them go on anyone’s plate. We scraped everything in garbage have never been back! I don’t know how they stay open…hardly see anyone there, we go by most every day!!

Nothing like waiting at the counter for 10 minutes to get help. and watching 4 employees walk around goofing off, totally ignoring you...and the place was empty.

I'm not much of a review writer but this place for sure deserves one! I've been in a handful of times and the food is always amazing, I always get the Schmidty (Hot) and the French fries with a drink, the price is always on point and doesn't cost far off from a fast food joint. Overall I recommend it to anyone who likes good burgers and fries at a good price.

Burger was a little torn up...really messy and not so tasty and really expensive.

Loved the halibut! The onion rings, fries and cod were good too. Really liked the coleslaw. The tarter sauce was yummy!
