All of the staff members we spoke with were extremely friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we had a few problems. The satellite dish TV service reception was poor and the picture kept fading in and out the hotel was aware of the problem and said the issue was with the satellite TV company and not them. We stayed there for 2 nights and housekeeping did not come make up our room. The front desk apologized for the oversight and said at the least they should have provided fresh linens but they did not. The big complaint that I had was that the hotel charges a nightly fee to park your car. I would understand if they were a downtown hotel or had limited parking available, but they have ample parking around the property. I spoke to the hotel manager about this and she said that she had received a number of complaints regarding this and that it was the policy of the company owning the hotel and not the individual hotel itself. I have stayed at Springhill Suites before and never had to pay to park. The hotel manager agreed to waive the parking charges which I thought was very nice of her to do. I would consider staying there again if the parking fee went away.
Great choice for a place to stay when catching an early flight out of MHT. We drove down from vacationing in Maine and decided to stay 2 nights so we could visit the Currier Museum of Art while in the area. Rooms were nicely appointed and clean. Free breakfast was good had all the standards stuff pastries, cereal, oatmeal, fruit plus hot eggs. Hot coffee was available in the lobby all day. We returned our rental car after day 1 and the free shuttle gave us a ride back to the hotel. Rode the free shuttle to the airport the next morning at 4:30am! At most a 10 min ride to MHT. The front desk staff was wonderful pleasant , efficient and helpful they seemed to really enjoy being there.
An honest review! Very happy. We have traveled A LOT in the past two years. This place is clean, has a very good breakfast (which changes a bit daily) Recently renovated. The rooms and hallways are clean. The staff is friendly. An indoor pool and a nice clean fitness center with cardio/kettlebells/bands and even wipes to clean the machines (a rarity). I like to take the stairs and many hotels don't bother to keep them clean, but they are here. Rooms are a decent size. It's quiet at night-no highway noises. There are not restaurants within walking distance, but several within a mile in each direction including the dog friendly (on the patio) Backyard Brewery. Airport transportation is available. Very affordable, especially if you book an extended stay (5-7 days). The dog fee is $100 per stay.
The hotel was mediocre at best. Our room was terrible. There was a box fan running when we got there to try and dry the soaking wet carpet that was clearly from the AC unit leaking. The carpet was totally soaked and the room smelled of mildew and “wet dog”. The front staff offered me towels to put down on the carpet and some air freshener. No other rooms were available as they were sold out. I emailed the manger and there was no response just $25 off and a $5 parking fee that they don’t tell you about upon check-in. Would not go back. The Homewood Suites across the street is soooo much better.
First let me start off by saying I never leave reviews, because who the hell has the time right?!? That being said, I did want to mention the q thing that truly stood out while i stayed here….His name Is Adrian the driver for the shuttle that the hotel offers.. Damn what else can I say about this guy, he knew the where the exact spots for whatever I was looking for… he really knew his stuff! A huge shout out to Mr. Adrian the driver….thank you for making my trip way less stressful!! YOU ROCK!
