Feedback gevenDuring a quick stopover in Coffs Harbour for work, I visited the Hoey Moey but was not impressed with the staff or service. I then decided to go to the Bowlo and was pleasantly surprised by the front counter and bar staff. Although my meal was ordered late, I was not disappointed. I started with the salt and pepper squid, which was delicious and perfectly cooked with a crunchy texture and well-dressed salad. The standout was the main course, a 400g ribeye steak that was slow-cooked to perfection, tender, and cooked to a perfect medium rare. The sauces, mushroom and dianne, were also outstanding. Overall, I will definitely be returning on my next trip. This review is from August 2017 and written by a 30-year-old male.
Meals to suit all your needs whether taste, budget or that special occasion. Staff will provide terrific service along with that feeling that you at home with friends.
This restaurant, located within the local bowls club, exemplifies the dining experience typical of recreation clubs in NSW. The food is delicious, portions are generous, service is quick, and prices are reasonable. As someone with celiac disease, I was pleased to find a wide variety of gluten-free options available. The staff showed a good understanding of this dietary requirement.
Open for lunch and dinner every day, great food, generous portions and good value. Staff were friendly and provided good service.
The salad platter at this restaurant is beautiful, with chicken, ham, and egg. We were serving about 100 guests and the service was prompt, with delicious food. The staff were friendly at the reception, bar, and bistro as well.
