The Chill Out Cafe - Coffs Harbour

This is a great cafe that really helps support a lot of deserving people in the community. The quality of the meals is exemplary with excellent reasonable pricing for those on a budget budget!Lovely atmosphere and delightful staff who deserve great praise for the work they do.

This place is something that dreams are made of. Staffed by people with a disability it gives these people a go and an opportunity. Service was friendly and the meals were excellent. Highly recommend.

This breakfast and lunch cafe is in the Coffs Harbour Neighbourhood Centre. It's location means that you are away from the traffic and bustle of downtown Coffs, overlooking beautiful well-tended gardens and the creek forest, complete with native birds . Such a tranquil spot. It's my favourite place to go. How is the food? It's excellent. Lots of local people eat there, so the food is always fresh and tasty. Isn't there a saying, 'always eat where the locals go'? The menu covers fresh fish and chips, vegetarian crepes, spinach and ricotta frittata, the daily roast or other special, sandwiches, cakes, desserts and much more. They also make really nice cappuccinos and other coffees. They have a 'coffee and cake' deal that was $6 last time I was there, and who can argue with that, especially when the cakes are homemade and delicious?!The price? It's hard to believe what you get for your money at the Chill Out. No wonder the locals go there. Where can you get a cooked meal, a coffee AND cake with cream or ice cream for under $15 these days? If you are a member you get the meals even cheaper. Whether you're a local or a traveller passing through, you will want to visit the Chill Out Cafe. A tasty meal in a lovely place, for a great price, the Chill Out is worth finding. Opening hours 10am - 2pm Tuesdays to Fridays.
