Pizzeria El Templo - COGOLETO

Super tasty real Italian pizzas! Polite and friendly staff, small cozy place, mostly to take away, also several tables to eat inside. Great service. Love it!

I love the pizza in this place! I have been a customer since they first open (2004 I think) and I still love their pizza. Now there is also the dough with brown flour and this was very good too. It is a takeaway pizza but there are couple of tables in the place if you want to stop to eat your pizza there most of the times these are busy tho. We usually bought the pizza and went to eat on the beach across the road. The only thing is that they could put a menu online (e.g. in their FB page). I know the pizzas that I like, but if you have guests and do not have a menu the phone call for ordering the pizza lasts longer!

This is the best 'no frills ' pizzeria you 'll find in Ligure. After arriving on holiday in Arenzano late on Saturday afternoon we took a wander into Cogoleto and found El Templo open at 18:30 tired and hungry after the long car journey, we (and our nine month old baby Liam were welcomed with smiles. At first it took us a while to work out that if you eat in it 's self service (collect your own place mat and cutlery and clear up after but all this is part of the charm and it doesn 't cost any more to eat in. As mentioned before, most pizzas are between six and nine euros and they are fabulous. Nice crispy and thin base yet not overcooked. We loved the place so much we ate there three times in a week and there are so many different pizzas on the menu you will never get bored. Oh and the drinks are reasonably priced too. We also tasted the lovely farinata and the other bread with garlic and rosemary (can 't remember the name in Italian! . Such a lovely team of people work in El Templo (hello to baby Luca! and we just had fun sitting in eating pizza and watching the hustle and bustle of the place. They also do delivery and of course, most people take their pizzas home to eat, but part of the experience is definitely eating in. Can 't wait to go back there. Please don 't ever change!

Ieri sera ho voluto provare la pizza della pizzeria EL TEMPLO"di Cogoleto. Purtroppo non riesco a dare molte stelle e adesso vi spiego il perché. Ho ordinato pizze x le ho chiesto margherite ed una vegetariana senza mozzarella e senza melanzane. Poco prima delle sono stata contattata e mi è stato detto che la pizza vegetariana senza mozzarella sarebbe stata un pochino asciutta. Io lo so ed ho confermato il mio ordine: vegetariana senza mozzarella e senza melanzane. Mi è stato chiesto se volevo del parmigiano sulla mia pizza ho detto di no. A questo punto la signora mi ha detto che loro fanno la vegetariana con pomodoro, mozzarella, zucchine, melanzane e peperoni grigliati, aglio e prezzemolo. Ho confermato per la terza volta il mio ordine e mi sono raccomandata che non mettessero aglio e prezzemolo . Alle mi hanno consegnato le mie pizze. Purtroppo sono allergica all'aglio (forse in un'altra vita ero un vampiro e ne sento l'odore da lontano...la pizza vegetariana era piena di aglio e prezzemolo. Do stelle alla gentilezza della signora ed alla consegna veloce, do stelle alle pizze margherita ma posso dare solo stella alla pizza vegetariana perciò mio giudizio generale è
